Issue: On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail when the outside temperature is high.

If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start.

This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving.

Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no.

2023-505.

Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.

Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump.
