Issue: On certain vehicles, the incorrect steering gear box assembly may have been installed during a repair. As a result, the tires could become damaged by contact with the chassis and fail. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering gear box assembly. The dealer will also inspect the tires for damage and replace them, as necessary. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
