Issue: On certain vehicles, plate(s) in the headliner could detach and hit an occupant if the side curtain airbags deploy in a crash.

Safety Risk: Headliner plate(s) that hit an occupant could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to add adhesive tape to secure the plates to the headliner.
