Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the front seat frames may not have been properly welded. As a result, the front seats could move in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat that moves in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front seats, and replace the front structure of the seat(s) if necessary.
