Issue: On certain vehicles, the tires may have been damaged when they were mounted onto the rims in the factory.

While you may not be able to see the damage, it could lead to a sudden tire failure.

Note: This recall only affects factory-installed all-season tires on 20" wheels.

Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Subaru will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the original equipment all-season tires.

Subaru recommends that if the vehicle is equipped with winter tires, you should not re-install the original all-season tires, and contact your local dealer.
