Recalls

Issue: This recall is for accessory trailer brake controllers that were dealer-installed or sold as an accessory part at a Ford dealership.

A software problem in the trailer brake controller could cause the trailer brakes not to apply when you brake.

Safety Risk: A loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the integrated trailer brake control module software.
