Issue: On certain vehicles, the long fuel injectors may have been assembled without a filter element.

As a result, fuel could leak into the engine compartment.

Safety Risk: A fuel leak in the engine compartment can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the long fuel injectors.
