Issue: On one XC40 Recharge model, a bolt that attaches a cross-member bracket for the electric motor may not be properly tightened or could be missing.

This may create a noise or vibration, and could result in reduced protection in a crash.

Safety Risk: A loose or missing cross-member bracket bolt could lead to an increased risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: Volvo will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the cross-member bracket and install new bracket bolts.
