Recalls

Issue: On certain trucks, the bolts that attach the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly may not be properly tightened.

As a result, water can enter the BPMV and cause a short circuit.

Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly.

General Motors recommends that you should park your truck outside, and not in a garage or other structure, until the recall repairs are completed.
