Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel pump mounting ring on the fuel tank could crack and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a new fuel pump ring. A thermal insulation pad will also be installed on the fuel tank of RX-8 vehicles. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
