Issue: On certain vehicles, the right hinge pin for the glove box cover may not be attached properly.

As a result, the knee airbag could contact the glove box cover when it inflates in a crash.

This could cause damage to the knee airbag that may cause it not to inflate properly.

Safety Risk: An airbag that does not inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the glove box cover.

If necessary, the hinge pin will be positioned properly in its mount.
