Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the engine block could crack due to a manufacturing error.

This could lead to damage of other engine parts, and could result in an oil leak or an engine failure.

An engine failure could cause a sudden loss of engine power while driving.

Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the engine.
