Issue: On certain vehicles, the wrong wheel nuts may have been installed at the assembly plant. As a result, the wheel nuts could loosen and cause a wheel to separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. Corrective Action: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the wheel nuts and replace them, if required.
