On certain Corvette ZR1 models, a fault in the Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM), which controls the airbag system, may make it unable to detect a crash or deploy the airbags. This creates an increased risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the SDM with updated software to correct this problem.
