On certain vehicles equipped with a 7-speed Auto-Shift Manual (ASM) transmission, due to a lack of support, a connector in the hydraulic system could fail and cause a transmission fluid leak. If this occurs, the driver would be unable to change gears which could, under certain circumstances, increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a support bracket to hold the hydraulic line in position to prevent movement of the assembly. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
