On certain vehicles the lower seat belt anchorage bolts for the rear bench seat may not have been torqued to specification during assembly. This could cause the seat belts to fail to adequately restrain occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the bolt torque of the seat belt anchorages, and tighten as necessary. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
