On certain vehicles, the fabric cover of the side curtain airbags may not have been pre-perforated correctly. This could prevent the airbag from deploying as intended. A side curtain airbag that does not deploy as intended during a crash (where side curtain airbag deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will rework the fabric covers of the side curtain airbags. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
