On certain vehicles, incorrect software programmed into the Antilock Brake / Anti-Skid System (ABS/ASR) electronic control unit may prevent the ABS/ASR system from functioning properly. A loss of function may result in a loss of enhanced stability and braking control during certain high speed manoeuvres and high speed braking. This could result in a vehicle crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the ABS/ASR electronic control unit.
