On certain vehicles, the inner tie rod assemblies may crack and eventually break. Such a failure would result in separation of a tie rod from the steering rack, causing a loss of steering control which could result in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the steering rack assembly. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
