Certain vehicles may have been assembled with a defective ignition switch which could provide the potential for starter actuation when the switch is in the accessory position. Engine start-up will not occur but limited vehicle movement may occur if the starter is unexpectedly actuated with the transmission in a drive gear and the parking brake not engaged.
