On certain BMW 528E vehicles, at temperatures of -9 degrees celsius and colder and a warmed up engine, water vapour might condense and freeze in the throttle houseing after a period of steady driving, causing ice buildup around the throttle plate. The ice may prevent the throttle plate from fully closing when the driver releases the accelerator pedal. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
