Volvo XC60
Being a newcomer in the Swedish automaker’s line-up, the XC60 indicates the stylistic avenue new Volvos should follow. Volvo has not shown restraint in the integration of technologies for the compact utility vehicle. Take, for instance, the City Safety system, which makes the vehicle stop by itself when nearing a metallic object (at low speeds). This year, a 235 horsepower six-cylinder engine complements the XC60’s 281 horsepower turbo T6 engine, reducing its price under the 40,000$ level.
