The Volkswagen Touareg is a big SUV that skirts the premium segment with stealthy luxury and comfort. Capable of handling five passengers, the practical Touareg boasts a base 3.6L V6 that is good for 280 horsepower. Stepping up to the TDI edition introduces a 240-hp 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6, while the Hybrid model supercharges a 3.0L V6 in order to generate 380 horses and 428 lbs.-ft. of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive are standard with each model.
