Volkswagen Taos
For 2025, Volkswagen’s subcompact SUV sports a new front end. Also, the turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine has been upgraded from 158 hp to 174 hp. Torque remains unchanged at 184 lb-ft. More good news: Volkswagen is removing the dual-clutch transmission from all-wheel-drive models and replacing it with the same eight-speed autobox found on front-wheel-drive models. The Taos is fun to drive and comfortable to live with.
