Even though most of its competitors have been redesigned since it arrived on the market, the Passat continues to stand out with a very large passenger cabin. The Passat remains mostly unchanged in 2018 while waiting for a new generation. A new 174-horsepower, 2.0L four-cylinder turbo comes standard while a 280-horsepower, 3.6L V6 is optional. It’s equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.
