The Jetta is now offered as a sedan and a station wagon, with a choice of a 5 or 4-cylinder turbo engine. The major new thing for 2009 is, however, the new 2.0-litre TDI clean diesel engine, which isn't only greener, but also more powerful than the engine it replaces. Smooth and efficient, this is an engine that offers fuel-efficiency comparable to the best hybrids on the market.
