Volkswagen Golf
The 2021 model year marks the end of the road for the seventh-generation Golf in Canada—at least in base trim, the one that features a turbocharged 1.4-litre TSI four-cylinder engine matched to a manual or automatic transmission. The sportier Golf GTI and Golf R will return for 2022, but that’s it. And forget about the all-electric e-Golf, too, because Volkswagen is now focusing on a next generation of electric vehicles.
