Tesla Model S
The electric speedster sedan channels its inner Voldemort with a new barebones grille. The 2017 model year also sees the return of a basic version with just one motor and a 60-kWh battery. In a marketing strategy worthy of the hi-tech industry, the 60, 70 and 75 versions all share the same battery, with extra kilowatt-hours unlocked for a price. The on-board charger is now 48 amperes, and an ultrafast 100-kWh P100D is now available.
