Fully redesigned just two years ago, the hatchback-only Impreza is sometimes overlooked in the compact car segment. Unlike Toyota and Honda, Subaru doesn't offer a hybrid variant. The only two engine options run purely on gasoline. Entry-level models come with a 2.0-litre flat-four, while the Impreza RS boasts a larger 2.5-litre engine boosting output to 182 horsepower. The Sport-tech model is not returning in 2026.
