Launched last year, the second-generation smart fortwo lineup adds a cabriolet for 2017, with a vastly improved electric version set to arrive over the course of the year. fortwos have an 89-horsepower, 0.9-litre three-cylinder engine paired with one of two gearboxes: a five-speed manual or six-speed twin-clutch automatic. The electric drive features a 17.6-kWh battery that reduces charging time while extending range.
