Nissan Frontier
The midsize pickup segment is extremely hot right now. The Frontier was completely redesigned two years ago, but newer and more attractive competitors have arrived (Colorado, Canyon, Ranger, Tacoma). The only engine available is a 3.8-litre V6 that delivers 310 horsepower through a nine-speed automatic transmission. Customers have a choice of two cab sizes. The engine is strong and dependable but also fuel-thirsty. Comfort levels are surprising for the segment.
