With a 10-year/160,000 km powertrain warranty, an attractive price, commendable build quality and proven reliability, the Eclipse Cross has many great attributes, at least on paper. In reality, this Mitsubishi struggles to compete with the many other compact SUVs in the segment. Some will say it suffers from being stuck between the smaller RVR and the larger Outlander. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine delivering 152 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. AWD is standard.
