As the gateway to the Mercedes-Benz SUV family, the GLA is available in two trim levels including 250 and AMG 35. The former prioritizes comfort and efficiency while delivering 221 hp. The latter is sportier and more fun to drive thanks to its 302 hp and sharper handling. Competitors in the subcompact luxury crossover segment, such as the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, seem to stand out more than the GLA, mind you. Also, reliability has proven to be a concern.
