The CLA is entering its third generation and represents a shift in strategy for the German brand, as it is primarily electric (a hybrid variant will be added later). The new CLA is based on an 800V architecture enabling very fast charging. The 85kWh battery provides an estimated range of 550 km in rear-wheel-drive configuration and 525 km in all-wheel-drive configuration. Importantly, the gasoline models from the outgoing generation will be sold alongside the new CLA.
