Mercedes-Benz's C-Class series is the automaker's most popular. In it, you'll find a whole range of models among which several have recently been through major overhauls. The styling is classic but offers sporty overtones while the platform is one of the most rigid on the market. The basic C230 version comes with a 2.5-litre V6 engine producing 201 horsepower. But fans of performance will want to look at the C63 AMG, with its high-powered 453 horsepower V8 engine.
