McLaren 12C
Behold, a new sports car is born: The McLaren MP4-12C. The MP4 part is combination of "McLaren" and "Project 4", the former venture of Ron Dennis, team principal of McLaren's Formula 1 team. As for the other three digits, "C" stands for "carbon" while "12" is the result of a complex mathetical calculation. But what you really need to know is that the MP4-12C features a 3.8 L twin turbo V8 that churns 592 hp. Weighing a mere 1,434 kg, it sneaks ahead of its fiercest rival, the Ferrari 458 Italia
