Lexus UX
The Lexus UX is more about efficiency and dependability than sporty performance. Available exclusively as a hybrid, it combines a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a pair of electric motors for a total of 181 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission handles that power. Despite its diminutive size, the UX is also the recipient of an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award. Too bad the interior is cramped, including the cargo area, and steering lacks precision.
