The Jeep Liberty, just like its cousin the Dodge Nitro, is a compact SUV with a very macho looks. But, unlike the Nitro, it cannot be fitted with a 4.0-litre V6 engine. It must be content with a 210 horsepower 3.7-litre V6 engine, with a six-speed manual transmission. Buyers can get an optional four-speed automatic transmission. The Liberty's off-road capabilities are surprising. It is a Jeep product, after all!
