A year removed from a series of styling revisions, interior upgrades and new technologies, the Jeep Compass returns for 2023 with major changes under the hood. Forget the naturally aspirated 2.4-litre four-cylinder mill. Instead, you’ll find a new turbocharged 2.0-litre engine delivering 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft. of torque. It is mated to an equally new eight-speed automatic transmission. Another significant change for 2023 is that all Compass models are now blessed with four-wheel drive.
