Hyundai Santa Fe
Talk about an extreme makeover. The completely redesigned 2024 Santa Fe has a LEGO-like exterior (yet somehow proves more aerodynamic than its predecessor) and a longer wheelbase that allowed Hyundai to bring back third-row seats as standard equipment. Base models in Canada are now motivated by a hybrid system combining a turbocharged 1.6-litre gasoline engine with an electric motor (226 horsepower). More upscale Santa Fes use the turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder mill (277 horsepower).
