Hyundai IONIQ 5
Based on a dedicated electric vehicle platform called e-GMP, the IONIQ 5 is enjoying quite a bit of success around the world. Too bad Hyundai can’t keep up with demand in Canada. The 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery benefits from an 800V architecture enabling ultra-fast charging speeds. The single-motor configuration generates 225 horsepower and offers up to 488 km of range, while the dual-motor variant supplies 320 horsepower and 410 km of range. Watch out for the 641-horsepower IONIQ 5 N coming for 2025.
