This compact SUV is offered with front- or all-wheel drive and comes in five different trims: SLE1, SLE2, SLT1, SLT2 and the luxurious Denali. The basic Terrain is powered by a 2.4L 182-hp four-cylinder with direct injection, but there’s an optional 3.6L 301-hp V6. Both are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
