Ford Super Duty
Launched for the 2023 model year, the current Super Duty generation isn’t expected to change for 2026. Behind the scenes, rumours point to the addition of a hybrid powertrain—a first in this heavy-duty work segment. But 2026 will largely be about continuity, with the two output levels of the turbocharged diesel V8 and the two gasoline engines carrying over. In fact, the biggest storyline for the full-size pickup in 2026 concerns its future assembly location, as Ford is expected—at least in principle—to shift production to the Oakville plant in Ontario, alongside two existing U.S. facilities.
