Launched for the 2023 model year, the current Super Duty generation is not changing for 2026. Behind the scenes, rumours continue pointing to the addition of a hybrid powertrain—which would be a first in the heavy-duty segment. For now, buyers can select between two output levels of the turbodiesel V8 and two gasoline V8 engines. In fact, the biggest storyline for the Super Duty in 2026 concerns its potential assembly location, as Ford plans to start production at the Oakville plant in Ontario, in support of the two existing U.S. facilities.
