The huge full-size truck market has always outshined the more compact truck market. And let us not forget that the arrival of mid-sized trucks is a response to more specific demands. However, if the latter continue to see their sales go down, the Ford Ranger may get a second chance. But to remain a respectable player, it will soon have to be entirely redesigned to compete against the clearly more modern Japanese trucks.
