The Ferrari California is the first convertible from the Italian automaker to feature a retractable hardtop. Despite the additional weight of this mechanism, the Ferrari California delivers astonishing performance thanks to its 453 horsepower, 4.3-litre V8 engine and seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual gearbox. The eight-cylinder motor is also capable of churning out 372 lb-ft of torque and the vehicle can leap to 100 km/h in under four seconds, which makes it one of the fastest drop tops around.
