This mid-engine Ferrari caused quite the stir last year when its naturally aspirated V8 was replaced by a brand-new turbocharged, smaller-displacement V8. Traditionalists were sceptical, but the proof is in the pudding. This car's ride, increased performance and reduced fuel consumption were enough to convince them that this was a step in the right direction. This Italian beast's elegant silhouette was designed with maximum aerodynamics in mind. There's also a topless version available called the 488 Spider.
