Developed on the same platform as the Toyota GR Supra, the BMW Z4 is a refined German roadster, not a flashy Japanese coupe. The base sDrive30i model starts at $63,200 and makes the most of a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower. It doesn’t come close to matching the performance of the M40i, however. This one boasts a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine sending as much as 382 horsepower to the rear wheels.
