BMW X1
The X1 is BMW’s entry-level crossover and was completely redesigned two years ago. The base xDrive28i model features a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 241 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Those looking for superior performance can turn to the M35i model, which cranks output up to 312 horsepower (torque is unchanged). There is no electrified variant in Canada. The fully electric iX1 is reserved for other global markets.
