BMW i3
The all-new i3 is a 100% purely electric car that was designed from a blank page so everything could be optimised for e-power. Its aluminum modular platform is very light and incorporates the batteries. The interior uses carbon-fibre reinforced plastics to save more weight. The 127-kW (170-hp) electric motor is located at the rear, and a 650cc motorcycle gas engine is optional to extend the range, which goes from 130 to 160 km without fossil fuel.
